Estrogen Receptor research presented in Brighton
The Society for Endocrinology annual meeting was held in Brighton in November 2019. Doug's abstract was selected for a prize session and the poster was presented as a 3 minute platfrom presentation.
The research is the first to describe expression of a truncated form of the estrogen receptor, ER46, in human endometrium and decidua. The research shows that ER46 is the predominant ER isoform in human decidua and stimulates movement of uterine natural killer cells.
***Update this research is now published in Human Reproduction.***
