SARMs in the uterus
Work led by Yannis investigating the impact of selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) in the uterus has been published in the Journal of Endocrinology.
The study compared the impact of SARMs to the endogenous androgen DHT and showed that the SARM Gtx-024 had a similar action to DHT in the uterus. This stuy provides an exciting template for preclinical studies assessing the utility of SARMs as therapeutics that can target endometrial function.
DHT and GTx-024 increase numbers of endometrial glands (see link above for details).
